Headcanons
✦ In this verse, the supernatural are not merely beings of fiction.Forever 25, Caelus is a young vampire who was turned earlier in the year and struggled to acclimate to his new life. In the beginning, he was wild and untamed, struggling with feeding from the living only to fall into frenzy because of it.
This continued until he was effectively "rescued" by this AU's version of the Astral Express crew, a group of Vampires aiming to take the newly-turned under their wings.
✦ Recovered to the point that he can more safely interact with others, this Caelus is a little goblin more often than not. High-spirited and friendly, he finds himself in trouble constantly. "Disappointed but not surprised" is the general vibe.
✦ Adrenaline junkie. Nobody is surprised about this.
✦ Physical displays of affection are a big deal with him, though they're showcased in less conventional ways than from normal people. Idle bites may be taken as shows of adoration or "love biting".
✦ His quick reflexes haven't been entirely mastered yet, but luckily even quicker healing makes up for any mistakes.
✦ In an established relationship, he marks his mate with a bite to the neck.
✦ Do vampire bites hurt? They certainly can if the biter is spiteful enough... but they can also feel incredible if desired.
✦ Vampires can still grow ill from any number of ailments they're not entirely immune to. They're not dead after all; they have an immune system.
✦ Hates being sick and is a terrible, miserable patient when he is.
✦ He suffers from fever dreams and nightmares when he is unwell.
✦ Nightmares visit him here and there regardless.
✦ He's technically NOT supposed to turn anyone no matter what, and has been careful enough to prevent any undesired events from occurring... for now....
✦ Yes, he can turn into a bat. He's a clumsy flier and more fluff than anything.
✦ No mate currently :') and he hasn't had the prior honor of being one in the past.
